Plain Sliced African Mahogany
- Raw Color- Heartwood color is variable, ranging from a very pale pink to a deeper reddish brown, sometimes with streaks of medium to dark reddish brown.
- Grain/Appearance- Grain is straight to interlocked, with a medium to coarse texture. Quarter sliced surfaces can also exhibit a ribbon-stripe appearance.
- Characteristics- Relatively hard, very lustrous and durable.
Since these are photographed images of veneers, the actual grain, amount and presence of darkened heartwood and color may be slightly different from what you see on these pre-finished pages.
We recommend requesting a pre-finished physical sample for an accurate representation of your desired finish.
